Joey is a free, beginner-friendly XRP Ledger wallet. You keep full control of your funds.
Create your wallet
Open Joey and create a wallet. If you choose the recovery-phrase option instead, write those words down and keep them safe — they are the only way to recover your wallet.
Add XRP
A new XRP Ledger wallet needs XRP to "activate." Plan for a few XRP: 1 XRP activates the account (a one-time network reserve you keep), 0.2 XRP is reserved when you add the Shroomies trustline, and you'll want a bit extra for fees.
Fund it by buying XRP inside Joey (if available in your region), or send XRP from an exchange to your Joey XRP address. Funding ~3–5 XRP total keeps things comfortable.
How To Get Shroomies
In Joey, add the SHROOMIES trustline, then swap some XRP for SHROOMIES on the built-in DEX. Prefer NFTs? Grab a Shroomies collectible on xrp.cafe.
